Israeli officials detained in corruption
November 4, the Jewish state held the detention of corrupt officials. A total of 19 people were detained, 9 of whom were simply interrogated. Searches were also conducted, jewishnews reports.
The remaining ten are suspected of corruption and gaining profit by illegal means, tax crimes.
The names of the detainees were not disclosed, but it is known that some of them held high positions in municipalities and state-owned companies.
According to media reports, the mayor of one of the Israeli cities is listed among the detainees (which one is not indicated). In addition, the Israeli press suggests that investigations and detentions were carried out in the north of the country.
